I was walking through Fresh Market, one of our favorite grocery stores, looking for something to throw into one of my daily smoothies when I stumbled across the POM Pomegranate Juice. Knowing that the cold season was kicking in, and people around me have started sniffling, I thought it would be a good idea to add freshly juiced oranges for some Vitamin C and the pomegranate juice for some heart-healthy antioxidants. The result tasted better than I could’ve imagined!
Here’s the simple recipe for those who love a delicious fruity smoothie:
Ingredients:
4 oz. pomegranate juice (or Shaklee Energizing Pomegranate Tea mixed with water)
4-6 oz. fresh orange juice (approx. 3 oranges, or 3 tbsp. orange Performance mixed with water)
1/2 banana
2 scoops Shaklee Life Shake in Vanilla (or other protein powder)
Ice
Directions:
Put all ingredients in a blender, blend and enjoy!
