It’s official: Summer is here! It’s time for sunshine, popsicles, pool parties, morning runs (to avoid the heat), travel, and going to the farmer’s market. My summer is jam packed with summer classes at the college, traveling to the mountainous North Carolina, Florida and even Europe! Add in a business conference, several business events and some coaching and you have an idea of what my summer looks like!
Summer to me is a time where I can be my most productive but in a more relaxed manner. I can work on a blog post, while sitting at the pool. Or I can coach my team member, while having a picnic. It’s all about balance! And I have so many goals for this summer! I’m so excited to present these all to you guys, but some will have to wait to be revealed. All I can say is that there will be a surprise coming within the next two weeks!
Speaking of surprises, I’ve been planning my blog out more, so consistent content can be viewed on a weekly basis. Not only have I been working on my content, but I’ve also been working on the current layout of the blog, so stay tuned for that! Don’t be surprised if you come onto this page, and it all looks a tiny bit different!
The most fun thing about summer for me though is getting fresh produce, and lots of it! I want sweet strawberries, watermelon, lemon, berries, kale, and fresh crisp lettuce. One of the typical drinks associated with summer is LEMONADE! Since I’m a huge fan of strawberries, I decided to share a strawberry lemonade recipe with you guys, that not only hydrates you and replenishes your electrolytes, but also gives you that strawberry taste!
What’s your favorite summer food?
Love,
Maxi
Strawberry Lemonade:
(df, gf, grain-free, sf, nf)
Ingredients:
8 oz. water
1/2 cup frozen strawberries (or use fresh, but add ice)
2 tbsp. Lemon-Lime Performance
Place everything into a blender and blend it up! Serve in your mason jar glass, grab a straw, and head out onto your porch to enjoy with the sunset!
Sounds delicious!
I have to try that, sounds like a great recipe.
Yum! I can’t wait to try this. Thank you for sharing this fun, summer recipe!
Love your blog entries 🙂
